• Serenely hip Asian-inspired decor with roomy surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for small plates and sushi
• Happy hour happens everyday from 5:30pm – 7:00pm and then 9:00pm to closing. (Make sure you hang out in the bar or lounge area, not the seated dining room.)

Why:

• Their daily happy hour serves $0.99 oysters on the half shell (in 1/2 dozen or dozen orders only…but who eats less than that?)

David wrote in to tell me about a free food event on September 15 in San Francisco’s Cow Hollow district.

From the looks of what he wrote, we’re talking some Tiger Beer samples, free curry samples, and even a little massage. Tiger Beer is from Singapore (home of Raffles Hotel, the Merlion, and the Singapore Sling cocktail), and I think this is a big marketing push to build brand awareness in SF, or the States as a whole.

For those of you looking for the best value on your happy hour drinks, check out Home’s happy hour, any day of the week, from 5pm – 7pm. All drinks purchased at the bar are 2 for 1, they use top shelf booze, they’re not cheap on the pourings, and the bartenders know how to make the drinks, folks!

This means that you can get two Grey Goose & Tonics for less than $10. Not bad, eh?
The only caveats…
