Woodhouse Fish Company’s newest location on Fillmore Street is offering a $1 Oyster Happy Hour on Tuesdays from 4pm – 10pm. They sell a variety of oysters regularly, but during that time, 1 particular type is available for $1 each. Their latest spot is in what was once euphemized as “Lower Pacific Heights” but now resembles the trickling down of yuppiedom towards Geary and the ‘Hood. When I went to check it out last week, the place was packed and I saw quite a few grubgirls dining on oysters only.

Thanks again to SF CItyDish for the scoop on the free java giveaway in the Mission on Mondays. Eight ounces of joe is enough to get your blood pumping, and Four Barrel Coffee on Valencia & 15th is offering it up until April 20th. And even better, it’s French-pressed coffee. YUM.

A little Potrero neighborhood secret: if you like good quality pizza, head on over to Goat Hill Pizza in Potrero Hill on Monday nights for all-you-can-eat pizza and salad for $10.95. Got kids? Even better. If you haul over tykes between the ages of 6 and 12, they’re $5.95. (I’m not sure if that’s the smartest thing, mathematically. Remembering when I was 12 years old, I think I ate more than I do now…actually, wait, I definitely did eat more than I do now.)
