Urban Tavern’s Set Your Own Price Promo

The foodies at SFWeekly interviewed the dining manager over at Urban Tavern, which is in the middle of its “Pay What You Think It’s Worth” promo. You read it correctly – a restaurant, in these economic times, is daring to have you come in and name your own price for a meal.

Would you risk such a promo? (With the caveats that you eat no more than 3 courses, and that a max of 100 diners will be offered this, daily.)

And from another perspective, do you think you’d end up paying less, more, or about the same as the menu items?

I’ll kindly remove myself from the running here and look for your thoughts.

Hurry up though, this promo ends on June 12th! Make your reservations at Open Table.
