IKEA Free Breakfast (Again!) – April 17 – 19, 2009
IKEA’s latest Seize the Day promotion includes free breakfast and a coffee again, this Friday through Sunday.
Don’t forget to print out the coupon, and make sure you read the fine print since some locations are opting out.
Again, the retail value of an IKEA breakfast is $0.99, and a cup of coffee is $0.99, too. If you’ve got the time to stand in a potentially long line for $1.98 in savings (without purchasing anything else from the store), then sure, why not? But apparently this promotion is successful enough for IKEA’s sales that they’re doing this again.

Easy Brisket Recipe for Passover
Thanks go to the folks at Chow.com for posting a recipe and a video for Irma Zigas’ California-style brisket. By California-style, we mean she uses some pre-packaged ingredients, which I don’t mind when I’m pressed for time but still want some great tasting brisket!
The other joy I have in posting this is that I’ve had the recent opportunity to meet Irma and dine on her famous brisket. I’m telling you, it’s good stuff.
Chow thankfully has written the basic ingredients for the brisket that you’ll need, along with the rest of the recipe:
- 1 (5- to 6- pound) beef brisket
