After reading “10 Things Your Restaurant Won’t Tell You” over on MSN Money, you should really consider cooking that pasta dish at home, or getting your dinner from an over-the-counter restaurant.
Here are two examples that you should always remember:
- Our specials are anything but. Every culture has its leftover dish – something tasty originally made of a whole bunch of leftover ingredients. Think of pizza, fried rice, burritos, vegetable bean soup… Well, restaurants are no different.
- Never go out to eat on a Monday. Sure you may get seated, but, if there isn’t a lot of table turnover in the restaurant, chances are that your fresh ingredients are experiencing that “not so fresh” feeling.
