For those of you of legal drinking age that are looking for ways to save some money on your next alcohol and liquor purchases, consider buying liquor at your local Costco. 
Fox News’ SmartMoney.com reported that little-known legislation in several states requires that warehouse-type retail outlets sell alcohol to non-members without requiring any additional fees:
These laws date back to the 1930s, when Prohibition was repealed. Massachusetts’ law, for example, provides that applicants for a license to sell alcohol must “serve the public need and protect the common good.” In simpler terms, alcohol sold must be available for purchase by the greater public — no membership restrictions.

I went there with EC after playing some volleyball Friday night. It was billowing fog again…not your typical summer evening, unless you’re in San Francisco.
This place is way out in the Outer Sunset, serves a mainly Asian-American crowd, and serves Hong Kong-ish style or Malaysian-type Chinese food. That is, there are elements of a Western twist on the menu, like the Fried Spam Macaroni, or the Fried Ham and Cheese Roll.

If you ever need a break from shopping at the Westfield San Francisco Centre in downtown San Francisco, this hidden gem is only a stone’s throw away.
Not the dirt cheapest place, but for $1-2 more than the bargain basement Indian food restaurants, the quality, taste, and portion sizes were well worth it.

If you’re planning to go to Anh Hong to eat their Seven Courses of Beef (also known as Bo 7 Mon) dinner, here are some tips.
- Ordering the course for your group is not a 1-to-1 correlation. That is, if you have 7 guests, and they don’t all have bottomless pits for stomachs, you can place 5-6 _orders of_ the 7 Courses of Beef. I hope that makes sense. You will still be full.
- Go with a group. I’d recommend at least 5 people.
